Ancient & Contemporary Tantric Practices

Tantra is an ancient Indian practice that dates back more than 5,000 years. In Sanskrit, the word tantra means “woven together.” Today, the best of lovers weave together sexuality and spirituality for sizzling physical experience, spiritual epiphany, emotional healing, and extraordinary intimacy–the kind of experiences we crave and need to be fully human.

In this retreat, you’ll learn specific, fully-clothed practices to heal and expand your relationship with your own sexuality first. Then, you’ll practice the exercises with a partner. There is no nudity or genital touch during the facilitated exercises, but back in your private room, let all be revealed as lovers desire! These exercises provide the foundation for erotic intimacy that can last for hours.

Tantric Massage

Receive it. Give it. Watch it demonstrated. Learn the techniques. Tantric massage is the essence of Tantra. Tantric massage releases participants from general expectations of sex, as it does not involve intercourse or the traditional “give some and take some” dynamic of sex. Tantric massage offers a profound relaxation, a safe space to completely yourself. It encourages mindfulness, and works to release distractions, and zero in on our bodies and their innate wisdom. Tantric massage is worship, drawing up the receiver’s sexual energy for emotional healing and spiritual experience. You’re on retreat, after all!

Cacao Ceremony

No spiritual seeker would travel to Mexico without experiencing cacao! Cacao ceremonies are wildly popular, and you’ll be traveling to the birthplace of this phenomenal plant and its ancient ceremony! We’ll be led in an exhilarating cacao ceremony with deep reverence and authentic Mayan ritual.

Ecstatic Dance

Whether you call it ecstatic dance, inspired movement, or Shakti/Shiva dancing, this movement-based exercise unleashes your inner wildness! Can’t dance? You don’t need do. Ecstatic dance isn’t about making movements you have to learn and perfect. Instead, it’s about embodying hypnotic music, sinking deeply into what your flesh is telling you, and letting your body have its way with you. Inspired by the Mayans, you’ll find yourself moving naturally to your own rhythm with the potential to communicate directly with spirit or to just enjoy.

Do I Need to Bring a Partner?

No! The beauty of this retreat is you don’t need to bring a partner. All the exercises begin with yourself–as all intimate practice does. Once you have gained some mastery, you’ll be paired with other retreat participants (or with your partner if you bring one) to practice deeper elements. All the exercises are fully clothed and do not involve genital touch.

How do I Get There?

Fly into either the Cancun or Tulum Airports. We’ll pick you up when you arrive before 2 pm local time!  Arrivals after 2 pm will need to book a private taxi to Paladora.

Swimming and Snorkeling at the Cenotes

A cenote is an ancient, hidden jungle fresh water pool. Created by meteors millions of years ago, craters filled with the life-giving waters and host a staggering array of plants and aquatic life. Our eco-village has its a magical cenote to explore. Each cenote has its own hidden treasures to wow and delight you. Swim and snorkel in their depths and through their caverns. You’ll be greeted with an array of tropical juice drinks as you emerge to rest on their surrounding rocks.

Explore the Ruins

Chichen Itza, the 7th Wonder of the World, is one of Mexico’s most well-preserved and most mysterious ancient Mayan ruins! Travel back through time as you explore one the world’s best-preserved pyramids, El Castillo, with its stunning masonry and eerie rock carvings. Feel the visceral energy of the temples, pillared platforms, and seemingly-impossibly advanced sky observatory.

Zipline, ATV, Rappel and Swim through the Jungle

Judith Anne Condon

Dakini Leah is a Certified Tantra Educator through the Ohonu School of Tantra; a Certified Meditation Teacher through the Meditation Organization, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She trained directly under Carla Tara, who is widely respected in Tantric circles for her expertise and ethics. An intuitive, Dakini Leah combines her training with Divine guidance to provide a personalized, highly effective therapeutic experience. Since 2013 she’s helped over a thousand couples and individuals use the power of their sacred sexual energy for healing, intimacy and personal growth.
