The Erotic Wisdom Salon was created just for you.

If you’re like most midlife women, you have spent decades talking about children, careers, parents, marriages, health, and everyone’s else’s needs.

When have you had the chance to talk about your sensual self–your sexual self–in a safe and affirming space? Look no further. This salon is for you.

What Is the Erotic Wisdom Salon?

The Erotic Wisdom Salon is a six-session series for midlife women who long for a safe place to speak honestly about sex.

Together, we explore the rich landscape of our erotic lives—the joys and disappointments, the heartbreaks and awakenings, the fantasies, longings, questions, and discoveries that have shaped us through the years.

This is not therapy.

This is not dating.

This is not a place to prepare yourself for a partner or become a “better” at techniques.

It is a circle of women gathering in truth.

Here, there is no judgment. There is no fixing. There is no pressure to have the right answer or the perfect story.

There is only witnessing. Sharing. Growing.

And the profound healing that comes when a woman realizes she is not alone.

Within the support of sisterhood, we gather the wisdom of our lived experience. We honor where we have been, embrace who we are today, and create space for the woman we are still becoming.

Because our sexual journey does not end at midlife.

Oh, no. It is just beginning to bloom.

What Happens at a Salon?

Imagine sitting in a room where someone quietly says,

“I’ve never told anyone this before…”

…and instead of awkward silence or advice, she’s met with a circle of women simply listening.

That’s the magic of the Salon.

At the heart of every Erotic Wisdom Salon is a ceremonial form of sharing known as Talking Stick.

In a world that rushes to offer opinions, solutions, and advice, Talking Stick invites something different.

One woman speaks while the others listen. Not to fix or analyze or compare stories.

Simply to witness.

Each woman is given the gift of being heard until her story is fully told. The circle responds  with only presence, respect, and compassionate attention. Within this atmosphere of acceptance, women often find themselves speaking truths they have never spoken before—because they finally feel safe enough to do so.

To support our circle work, each Salon may also include:

  • Guided journaling prompts
  • Sensual and inspired movement
  • Guided erotic meditation
  • Gentle womb-centered yoga poses
  • Reflection and integration practices

Every activity is designed with the needs of midlife women in mind, creating a space where exploration feels safe, authentic, and deeply supported.

What Women Are Discovering

“What surprised me most was my growth. I feel more in tune to my own feelings and thoughts [about my sexuality]. All of the activities stayed with me–journaling, sensual movement, talking stick, yoga. Probably the most valuable takwaway is the connection with like-minded women.”
– Rebecca A., Grand Junction

Frequently Asked Questions

Are we really going to talk about sex?

Yes—and probably not in the way you’re imagining.

We talk about the whole landscape of our erotic lives: desire, pleasure, relationships, menopause, body image, fantasies, heartbreak, communication, longing, grief, joy, and the wisdom we’ve gathered over the years.

You are always free to share only what feels comfortable. Listening is a beautiful form of participation, too.

What if I know someone at the Salon?

Many women attend with friends or discover they know someone in the circle.

Confidentiality is one of our sacred agreements. What is shared in the Salon stays in the Salon. Our intention is to create a space where every woman feels safe to be authentic, knowing her story will be held with respect and care.

What if I don't have much sexual experience?

You belong here.

Some women have had many lovers. Others have had only one partner—or none at all. Some are widowed, divorced, dating, happily partnered, or intentionally single.

Erotic wisdom isn’t measured by the number of sexual experiences you’ve had. It grows through curiosity, self-awareness, courage, and a willingness to know yourself more deeply.

Do I have to share?

No.

There is never any pressure to speak. Some women come to their first Salon simply to listen. Others discover they have something they’ve been longing to say for years.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

Is this therapy?

No.

The Erotic Wisdom Salon is a facilitated sisterhood circle, not group therapy. While sharing can be deeply healing, we do not analyze one another, diagnose, or offer advice. We practice compassionate listening and trust each woman’s own inner wisdom.

Is this a Tantra class?

Not exactly.

The Salon is inspired by Tantric principles of presence, embodiment, and honoring the sacredness of our erotic lives. Rather than teaching sexual techniques, we cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves through conversation, meditation, movement, and reflection.

Do I need a partner?

Not at all.

Whether you’re single, dating, married, divorced, widowed, or somewhere in between, this space is for you. The focus is not on finding a partner, but on deepening your relationship with yourself and your own erotic wisdom.

Will there be nudity or sexual activities?

No.

All practices are fully clothed and designed to support reflection, embodiment, and meaningful conversation. The Salon is a respectful, welcoming environment where every woman chooses her own level of participation.

What ages are the women?

Most women are in midlife—from their late 40s through their 70s—but there is no strict age requirement. If you feel called to explore your sexuality with honesty, curiosity, and compassion, you’ll likely feel at home here.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable clothing, a journal if you’d like one, something to drink, and an open heart. If you ‘d like to bring a snack to share or an item to adorn our shared altar, that is welcome. Everything else you need will be provided.

The Wisdom You Seek Already Lives Within You

The Salon exists to help you hear it.

Come gather with a circle of women devoted to living fully, loving deeply, and honoring the sacred intelligence of the feminine.
